The Adept Traveler Wins Prestigious 2022 Travel Weekly Magellan Award, Showcasing Excellence in Accessible Travel
ELGIN, ILLINOIS - The Adept Traveler, Inc., a locally owned small business, is proud to announce that it has been honored with the prestigious 2022 Magellan Award by Northstar Travel Media and Travel Weekly Magazine. This accolade highlights the company's dedication to excellence and innovation within the travel industry, particularly in the field of Accessible Travel.
The Magellan Awards attract entries from top travel organizations and professionals around the globe, and being selected as a winner signifies an exceptional achievement. Adept Traveler now stands among other esteemed travel industry leaders, demonstrating a high standard of excellence in their offerings and services.
Brandon J. Yaniz, the Owner and President of The Adept Traveler, expressed his delight at this recognition. "This is truly an amazing accomplishment for our relatively new company. To be honored alongside established industry giants by a notable 'who's who' of the travel industry is a great honor and testament to our commitment to providing Accessible Travel experiences for all."
The Magellan Awards are judged and overseen by an esteemed panel of top travel professionals, comprising the most accomplished leaders and respected names in the industry. Entries are evaluated against a standard of excellence based on the extensive experience of Travel Weekly, rather than competing against each other. As a result, a category may have multiple winners or none at all.
Founded in 2021, The Adept Traveler is a travel agency specializing in Accessible Travel. Their mission is to assist all travelers, from novices to experts, and from able-bodied to disabled individuals, in having seamless and enjoyable travel experiences.
"As a disabled person myself, I have experienced firsthand how minor issues can escalate into major disasters for disabled travelers," said Brandon. "While I created The Adept Traveler to address the unique challenges faced by People with Disabilities, I quickly realized that our approach can also enhance travel experiences for able-bodied individuals. Travel should be enjoyable and stress-free, and our goal is to ensure that everyone has the experience they desire and deserve when they embark on their journeys."
