When will Cruise ships sail from California? Where is Crystal Crusies this winter, and just what is the Disney Uncharted Adventure?
The Carnival Panorama, owned by Carnival Cruise Lines is set to sail this weekend. This is the first cruise ship to sail out of the Golden State since March of 2020. The Panorama will depart Long Beach on August 21, and visit various ports in Mexico including Cabo San Lucas on it’s 7 day sailing. The Panorama debuted in late 2019, but due to the COVID pandemic has yet to sail for a full season. Among the many features, the panorama includes the companies first Sky Zone Trampoline Park at sea.
The Panorama will be followed by the Norwegian Bliss owned by Norwegian Cruise Line which will sail out of Los Angeles on October 24. And later in November by the Navigator of the Sea owned by Royal Caribbean International. This will mark the first time that Royal Caribbean has sailed from California in almost a decade.
Moving over to the East Coast, the Crystal Symphony, owned by Crustal Cruises, will be sailing from New York to Nassau on November 26, then reposition to Caribbean sailings out of Miami for the winter season. The trip from New York to Nassau will be a 7 day sailing. Caribbean sailings after will range from 3 to 7 days.
And finally Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, the Disney Wish, will debut with the companies first mobile app-based experience, Disney Uncharted Adventure. This game is a full family interactive experience. The game turns the mobile device into a “spyglass” that passengers use to unlock adventures throughout the ship from Moana, Peter Pan, Nemo, and others.
In another first for Disney Cruse Lines, this adventure starts at home. Captain Minnie and Mickey Mouse help you prepare for your journey. The game can be played on up to 6 devices at the same time, or the family can team up on one or two devices. The Disney Uncharted Adventure, and the Disney Wish both launch in the summer of 2022.
