Disney Releases Updated MagicBand
Disney is ready to launch the newest version of their wearable MagicBand on July 27th. MagicBand for those that are unfamiliar is a wearable band that allows guests in the theme park the ability to unlock their hotel room, or pay for items while on the property as well as extra, in-park experiences such as interactions with the golden 50th Anniversary statues, Disneys many nighttime spectaculars and a StarWars game available at Disneys Hollywood studio. The band detects the users motions and can detect gestures, it lights up and has haptic feedback. Originally offered for free to guests, the newest version of the magic band will retail for $34.99.
IcelandAir to Operate Flights to Cuba
The United States Department of Transportation has recently given their approval for Icelandair to operate up to 31 charter flights between the U.S. and Cuba each week. IcelandAir will operate Charter flights on behalf of World Atlantic Airlines, which will handle the marketing and sales of the flights. IcelandAir will join JetBlue, SouthWest, and American Airlines in offering flights between the United States and Cuba. Also included in this authorization is approval for Iceland Air to operate flights to other Caribbean destinations from the U.S. Now travel to Cuba isn’t straight forward, there are certain criteria that needs to be met in order to visit. American Cruise Line unveils new California Cruise
American Cruise Lines has announced their first ever California cruise. The new 8 day itinerary will depart and return to San Francisco and will cruise through San Francisco Bay, San Pablo Bay, the Napa River and the San Joaquin River and will make stops in Napa, Vallejo, Stockton, and Sacramento. The itinerary starts early 2023 and will take place on the American Jazz. The cruise will highlight the regions culture and history, and is a nice small cruise option for those looking for interesting travel without leaving the country.
