Travel News: Cancun, Las Vegas, and the winners of "Best Cruise Line"

In travel news for August 22th, 2022 we have good news for those traveling to Cancun, the winners of Virtuoso’s Best Cruise Line awards, and an update from Las Vegas.

Cancun Simplifies Entry Process

Good news for those traveling to Cancun, Mexico.  It was recently announced that the popular destination has ended the requirement that travelers fill out customs forms as well as granting Americans a more streamlined, fast track entry process.  The customs forms were available to be filled out online, but many travelers either were unaware or forgot to fill them out leaving them to do so at the airport.  The process could delay a traveler by an hour or more.  The new system should reduce the overall process down to minutes.

Best Cruise Line Awards

The Luxury Travel network, Virtuoso, has announced the winners for their “Best Cruise Line” category.  AmaWaterways, the family owned River Cruise company operating 25 ships across three continents, won for best river cruise.  Silversea Cruises, the Small Ship Cruise line that offers over 900 destinations, took home the honor for best Ocean Cruise.  And Linblad Expeditions, who has been in business since 1958 and is considered the first expedition company, won for best Expedition Cruise.  Congratulations to these companies, this is an honor well deserved.

New York - New York Hotel & Casino Undergoes a Renovation
