Holland America Line Targets Longer Itineraries from U.S. Ports

The summer wasn’t kind to those flying, high ticket prices, delays and cancellations all contributed to a poor experience for many.  Because of these problems travelers, instead of flying to foreign destinations, have been turning to an unexpected alternative, Cruise ships.  Holland America line has recently released a new campaign to capitalize on the increased interest in longer cruise routes.  The new campaign is titled “See The World from Your Doorstep” and highlights the cruise lines round trip sailings from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, San Diego, and Seattle.  The cruises leave from a U.S. port and visit Hawaii, the British Isles, Africa, South American, and Australia, to name just a few destinations.

Royal Caribbean Releases South Pacific Itineraries for 2023 - 2024

Royal Caribbean International has released the South Pacific itineraries on Spectrum of the Seas for the 2023-2024 season.  The itineraries come in three, four, five, seven, nine, and twelve night itineraries.  Most of the itineraries sail out of Singapore, however there is a 12 night sailing out of Tokyo in Japan.  Some of the countries visited include Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, and of course Singapore and Japan.  For more information about sailing in the Asia Pacific region give us or your Travel Advisor a call.

Carnival Cruise Line Opens Reservations for the Carnival Luminosa

Carnival Cruise Line has recently opened up reservations on their newest ship, the Carnival Luminosa.  The inaugural sailing will be out of Brisbane, Australia on November 6.  The itineraries available include three, four, six, eight, and eleven day sailings to areas including many popular Australian ports, the Great Barrier Reef, Fiji, and New Zealand.  The Australian season concluded in April then the ship will reposition to Seattle for, what the company is calling “bucket list sailings” in Alaska.  The Carnival Luminosa accommodates up to 2,260 travelers which makes this the smallest ship by capacity in Carnival’s fleet.  The largest ship being the Carnival Mardi Gras which can accommodate up to 6,465 passengers.
