Delta Air Lines is launching a daily non-stop service from London Heathrow to Los Angeles starting on March 26th. This marks the first time the service has been available since 2015 and is part of Delta's most extensive transatlantic summer schedule to date. This summer, Delta will offer eight daily non-stop flights from Heathrow to various destinations in the United States.
Los Angeles serves as a crucial hub for Delta on the US west coast, offering more than 140 daily flights and connections to popular destinations such as Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Portland. The new route emphasizes the airline's commitment to expanding its global network and presence at London Heathrow.
Since its inception in 2008, Delta's service from London Heathrow has grown to include eight daily non-stop flights to eight US gateways, providing over 200 connections to various destinations across the United States and beyond. The new Los Angeles flight complements the existing three daily flights provided by Delta's transatlantic partner, Virgin Atlantic.
Together, Delta and Virgin Atlantic will offer up to 278 weekly flights between the United States and the United Kingdom during peak travel months. Delta’s flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow leaves Los Angeles at 8:25 PM and arrives in London at 2:50 PM. The return flight departs at 4:20 PM and arrives in Los Angeles at 7:50pm.
