Recently, the Disney Magic Cruise ship unveiled new family-friendly experiences inspired by two beloved Disney films, "Encanto" and "Soul." During a three-week dry dock project in Freeport, The Bahamas, the ship underwent enhancements to its concierge accommodations, which now include theming and spacious refurbishments.
Aboard the Disney Magic, guests can immerse themselves in the enchanting world of "Encanto" through a unique experience called "An Encanto Celebration." This interactive event invites families to engage with the Madrigal family through music, crafts, and storytelling. Disney Cruise Line guests will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with characters Mirabel and Bruno, participate in a spirited sing-along, and create film-inspired crafts. The show also features a selection of Colombian beers, cocktails, sodas, and mocktails for a taste of South America.
Inspired by the heartfelt story of "Soul," the brand-new Soul Cat Lounge transports guests to a classic New York jazz club reminiscent of the film's Half Note Lounge. Located on deck three near Rapunzel's Royal Table restaurant, this space offers live music, brick walls, wood accents, and rich leather seating for a truly authentic experience. In addition to an extensive drink menu featuring Manhattans, martinis, native brews, and cocktails made with New York spirits, guests can indulge in zeppoles, a classic Italian pastry similar to fried doughnuts.
The Disney Magic is currently sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and will return to Miami on May 24 for a summer of cruises to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. These voyages include the "Silver Anniversary at Sea" celebration, honoring Disney Cruise Line's 25th anniversary. In the fall, the Disney Magic will head west for its inaugural season sailing out of San Diego, offering travelers more opportunities to experience the enchanting worlds of "Encanto" and "Soul" on the high seas.
