Unveiling Crystal's 2024 Grand Journeys: A Globe-Trotting Extravaganza Redefining Luxury Cruising

In travel news for May 24, 2023 we talk about Crystal’s new 2024 Grand Journey’s itineraries.

In an ambitious expansion of its grand sailings, Crystal Cruises has recently revealed its four new extended Grand Journeys for the year 2024. Each itinerary, offering between 37 to 68 nights, promises a luxurious cruise experience with longer port stays and overnight calls to some of the most coveted and lesser-known destinations across the globe.

Partnering with Luxury Travel company Abercrombie & Kent, Crystal is elevating these Grand Journeys to perfectly compliment the Crystal Serenity's 2024 World Cruise, which itself covers an astounding 29 countries and 62 destinations over a maximum of 141 nights. This dynamic partnership aims to provide guests an exceptional immersion in the unique cultural heritage and mesmerizing beauty of each location.

Two ships, the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, are the centerpieces of these adventures. Currently undergoing extensive refurbishments in Trieste, Italy, they are set to emerge with larger suites adorned with artisanal finishes, a state-of-the-art wellness center, a revitalized spa, a new pickleball court, and a slew of entertainment and event refreshments.

The Crystal Symphony embarks on the first of its three Grand Journey voyages on January 4, 2024, initiating a seven-week journey from Sydney, Australia to Singapore. This itinerary allows travelers to experience the richness of Australia, New Zealand, and various Asian destinations. From the breath-taking Great Barrier Reef to the captivating countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, each port of call invites exploration and discovery. Extended stays in several Asian cities including Vietnam, Thailand, and China, ensure ample time to fully absorb the essence of these fascinating locales.

Continuing its voyage, the Symphony sets sail on May 20, 2024, on a 45-night journey from Lisbon, Portugal to Monte Carlo. The itinerary generously offers passengers a peek into the vibrant Iberian culture with port calls in Portugal and Spain. The ship then navigates towards Cannes and Monte Carlo, followed by a southern jaunt to France, Croatia, and Greece, with idyllic stops in the islands of Santorini, Crete, and Mykonos. Capping off this segment of the journey, an overnight call in Istanbul provides a perfect transition into the last leg of the voyage that concludes in Monte Carlo.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Serenity commences an epic 42-night journey from Vancouver, Canada to Quebec City on August 13, 2024. This Cruise offers a panoramic view of the Pacific, Baja California, and the Mexican coasts. Passengers will get to witness stunning landscapes, historical landmarks, and tropical paradises, with a detour through the Caribbean waters before heading up the east coast to New York City and finally, Quebec City.

In addition to these itineraries, the Crystal Symphony has another enticing offering—a Stockholm, Sweden to London voyage. This 37-day sailing introduces passengers to the marvels of the Baltic and Northern Europe, including Sweden, Finland, Denmark, with extended stays in cities such as Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Adding a dash of excitement, a seven-day Cruise around Iceland is included before the journey concludes in Dover, England.

These Grand Journeys not only exemplify Crystal's commitment to delivering enriching, world-class Cruise experiences but also redefine luxury cruising. As the countdown to the 2024 sailings begins, voyagers can look forward to unparalleled discoveries, cultural immersions, and unforgettable luxury.
