In travel news for May 31st, 2023 we talk about Holland America Line’s new extended Legendary Voyages for 2024 and 2025.

Holland America Line is charting the course for exploration and adventure with its extended Legendary Voyages for the 2024-25 season, now open for bookings. The Cruise line offers a new array of itineraries destined for captivating regions such as Australia, the South Pacific, and Hawaii, redefining the meaning of a maritime journey.

With an emphasis on providing greater depth in the cruising experience, Holland America Line presents these longer voyages on board their renowned ships - the Westerdam, Koningsdam, and Zaandam. The extended Legendary Voyages encompass a spectrum of travel time, ranging from 25-day adventures to extensive 59-day sojourns. Most of these trips are roundtrip journeys commencing from North America, catering to travelers who wish to indulge in extended exploration without the additional expenditure on airfare.

The Westerdam sails on the 35-day Australia Circumnavigation Legendary Voyage, departing from Sydney on November 17, 2023. This journey offers an extensive tour of the Australian coastline, gracing sixteen diverse ports, including Adelaide and Hobart. A unique stop at the exotic Komodo Island completes the circuit before the ship makes its return to Sydney.

In addition to this, the Westerdam is also set to offer 14-day cruises to Australia and New Zealand from January through March 2025. A specially designed New Zealand Holiday cruise departing Sydney on December 22, 2024, provides an alternative itinerary for those looking to celebrate the festive season in a distinctive way.

For those yearning for a taste of the South Pacific, the Zaandam offers an exquisite 51-day or 56-day Tales of the South Pacific itinerary. This roundtrip journey departing from either San Diego or Vancouver boasts twenty port calls spanning across destinations from Hawaii to Tahiti, Kiribati, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Niue, the Cook and Society Islands, and the Marquesas.

The Koningsdam presents the 35-day Hawaii, Tahiti, and Marquesas Legendary Voyage, commencing roundtrip from San Diego on February 15, 2025. This journey features stops at four Hawaiian ports and an additional six in the South Pacific, including Raiatea, Moorea, and Papeete.

These exceptional itineraries epitomize the allure of Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific - regions known for their stunning landscapes, yet offering so much more. Recognized for their place on many travel wish lists, these destinations can now be effortlessly explored from the comfort of a Cruise ship. With an unparalleled immersive experience, these Legendary Voyages provide a unique opportunity to visit distant destinations right from North American homeports, making these cruises some of the most notable offerings by Holland America Line.

So for all aspiring adventurers out there, it's time to embark on a journey of a lifetime with Holland America Line's extended Legendary Voyages. From the expansive Australian coastline to the idyllic islands of the South Pacific, these cruises invite you to uncover the world's wonders and create unforgettable memories along the way.
