Oceania Cruises Unveils New Rare Wine Collection, Elevates Its Culinary Experience

In travel news for June 26 , 2023 we talk about Oceania’s rare wine collection.

World-renowned for its exquisite culinary experiences, Oceania Cruises has unveiled a brand-new rare wine collection to complement its superior gastronomic offerings. The upgraded wine lists, featuring 80 new labels sourced from the world's best Vineyards, will be made available across the entire fleet, setting a new standard for wine enthusiasts at sea.

The collection, meticulously curated by Oceania Cruises' expert culinary team, offers an array of new and old world options, celebration wines, classic tastings, and dessert pairings. Each wine has been hand-selected and takes 6-8 months to receive from top suppliers, ensuring the highest quality for guests. The collection aims to impress even the most discerning wine connoisseurs while also being approachable for those less familiar with the world of wines.

Notable wines from the collection include the classic Moët & Chandon Cuvée Dom Pérignon, the prestigious Château Mouton Rothschild, the elegant Ornellaia “Super Tuscan”, the elusive Mascot from Napa Valley, and the increasingly popular Vina Errazuriz Kai Carmenère from Chile. These fine wines and others will be available at all restaurants, bars, and suites across all seven ships.

"We are privileged to expand our rare wine program and world-class onboard experiences with the expert knowledge of our top culinary team," said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. Daniela Oancea, Corporate Beverage Manager of Oceania Cruises, added, "We're excited to launch our new wine collection featuring the highest quality, hand-picked rare wine labels reflecting the global philosophy of the company."

In addition to the new wine collection, Oceania Cruises is also launching three new dining experiences and five new pairing menus on its newest vessel, Vista. One of the highlights is the Cellar's Wine Luncheon in the fleet's newest restaurant, Ember. The experience invites guests to join the head sommelier and his team on a two-hour journey into the culinary world of food and wine, with a five-course menu each paired with a different premium wine.

Additionally, Vista is introducing private dining rooms in its iconic Polo Grill and Toscana restaurants. Each room serves two new tantalizing menus featuring a specially curated selection of gourmet dishes paired with premium wines from the onboard culinary team. The intimate experience will accommodate only eight guests per night.

Since its inaugural sailing in 2003, Oceania Cruises has been recognized as the cruise line of choice for epicureans. With one chef for every ten guests—the highest percentage of culinary personnel devoted to the dining experience—it continually innovates in the sector. The new rare wine collection and dining experiences underscore Oceania Cruises' commitment to providing the finest culinary experiences while transporting guests to dreamy destinations.
