Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is a travel destination that is famous for its castles, roller coaster rides, and classic Disney characters. It is located in Disney World, Orlando FL, and is the most visited tourist attraction in the United States. Lasting memories and fantastic experiences await all who visit.

As one enters the park, it is a sight to behold. The iconic Cinderella’s Castle is one of the most recognizable in the world and the sight of it evokes a sense of wonder and excitement. It stands over ninety feet tall and is the centerpiece of the Kingdom. The interior of the castle houses a restaurant, the multi-level Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the spooky Cinderella’s Magic Sleigh Ride and the beautiful Dream Along with Mickey show which brings many of the Disney characters together for a great show.

The park is filled with rides, attractions and shows. There are over 50 classic rides and attractions including The Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain. One of the most exciting is Space Mountain, a thrilling roller coaster ride through space. Other favorites include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Pirates of the Caribbean, which is a water ride depicting pirate adventures. The list of rides goes on and on and offers something for everyone, from young families to thrill seekers.

In addition to rides, the park has parades, fireworks and shows throughout the day. “Main Street Electrical Parade” is a classic, with colorful floats and plenty of Disney characters gliding through the park’s Main Street. “Wishes” is an epic fireworks display featuring fireworks, music and laser light effect over Cinderella’s Castle. “Happily Ever After” is the newest fireworks show, with state-of-the-art projection mapping and pyrotechnics. There are several stage shows as well, including Festival of Fantasy Parade, Enchanted Tales with Belle, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas and the monolithic “Mickey’s Philharmagic”.

And when it’s time to take a break from the excitement, there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Everything from snacks to full meals can be found at the various restaurants, stands and carts scattered around the park. For those who don’t want to leave the park, the sit-down restaurants provide quality dining experiences. And of course, there’s the famous dole whip in Adventureland.

The Magic Kingdom has much more to offer its visitors. Shopping, entertainment, character meet-n-greets and arcades complete the experience. Those who want to maximize their time in the Kingdom should look into the several vacation packages that are available. There are a number of packages which provide accommodations, tickets and other amenities, making it convenient to plan the perfect Disney World vacation.

The Magic Kingdom is certainly an amazing place. Whether it’s the thrill of the rides, the beauty of the parade and fireworks, the sights of the characters, or the food and entertainment, it is sure to make a lasting impression on all who visit. From families to couples to friends and more, the Magic Kingdom is a wonderful place to make memories that will last a lifetime.
