Spain Drops all Pandemic Entry Restrictions

On Friday, October 21st, Spain dropped all pandemic related entry rules.  Travelers from outside the European Union will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery, or a negative COVID-19 test to enter.  This will align Spain with pretty much every other country in Europe.  The elimination of these rules comes at the end of the fall travel season which usually runs between September and November.

American Airlines to Eliminate First Class

American Airlines is eliminating first class seats on long haul flight, the reason - customers just aren’t buying it. The airline is still committed to premium seating on international flights. By eliminating first class the airline has room to increase premium seating by 45% over the next three years.  This includes flagship suites, business class seating, and premium economy seating.  First class seating will still be available on domestic flights.

The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas to Undergo Massive Refresh

Earlier this year the ownership of the Venetian Resort Las Vegas changed, the new owner, Apollo Funds has some big ideas for the property.  Starting with a massive one billion dollars to update and improve almost every area of the customer experience.  This includes improvements to the arrival experience, redesigned and renovated suites, new restaurant and bar concepts and an overhaul of the entertainment and nightlife.  This is in addition to the debut of the re-imagined Venetian pool deck and a $50 million dollar Beach Dayclub.  The Venetian has also partnered with Madison Square Garden Entertainment and is currently constructing the $1.85 billion dollar MSG Sphere which is a music and entertainment arena capable of seating 17,500 people.
