Masks Return on Australian Sailings
In response to a recent surge in COVID cases in Australia Carnival Corp has reintroduced pandemic related health and safety protocols for all sailings in and around Australia and New Zealand. The protocols being put in place will require everyone, both crew and guests to wear a mask in all indoor public spaces while not actively eating or drinking. Masks will be required outdoors when social distancing isn’t feasible. Masks are also required during embarkation, debarkation, or in any indoor space while off ship. This applies to all of carnivals 9 Cruise brands. The brands that have upcoming sailings around Australia include Carnival Cruise Line, Cunard, Holland America Line, P&O Australia, and Princess Cruises.
Silversea Cruises Unveils Itinerary for Silver Endeavor
Silversea Cruises has recently released 27 new itineraries for their newly acquired and refreshed Silver Endeavor which was formally the Crystal Endeavor. The 200 passenger Endeavor is a polar class ship and the company will make use of this by offering 9 arctic sailings this summer ranging from 10 to 16 days, and 14 antarctic sailings that are up-to 21 days long. It’s not just polar expeditions, the ship will visit a total of 125 destinations all over the world. This is a luxury small ship, Expedition Cruise experience. The ratio of staff to guests is about 1 to 1 with butler service in every suite. Carnival Cruise Line Christens New Flagship, the Carnival Celebration
Carnival Cruise Line has recently christened their newest ship the Carnival Celebration in PortMiami. The Celebration will be the cruise lines flagship moving forward and will operate out of PortMiami year round. The 5,200 passenger ship features more then a dozen bars and lounges and over 20 dining options spread across six unique zones. Like it’s sister ship, the Mardi Gras, the Celebration will feature an all electric roller coaster on it’s main deck. And following the sustainability trend within the cruise industry this ship will be the second one in the Carnival fleet to run on Liquefied Natural Gas
