Carnival Cruise Line's Exciting Repositioning: Explore Alaska, Europe & More with New Itineraries

Carnival Cruise Line is gearing up for an exciting spring season, with repositioning plans for three of its ships: Carnival Luminosa, Carnival Pride, and Carnival Spirit. These strategic moves promise to enhance travelers' experiences and offer a diverse range of destinations.

Carnival Luminosa will embark on a 23-day transpacific journey from Brisbane, Australia to Seattle, starting her Alaska season on May 4. The voyage will include stops in exotic locations like New Caledonia, Fiji, Tahiti, and Hawaii, marking the ship's first time in U.S. waters since joining the fleet in November 2022.

Meanwhile, Carnival Spirit will set sail from Miami to Seattle on a 16-day Cruise, with an itinerary featuring Santa Marta and Cartagena in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The ship will also navigate the captivating Panama Canal before arriving in Seattle on May 2.

Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Spirit will join sister ship Carnival Miracle, departing from San Francisco, for a four-month Alaska season. Together, the three ships will offer 49 Alaskan cruises, ranging from six to 14 days, showcasing awe-inspiring destinations such as Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, and the magnificent fjords of Tracy Arm and Endicott Arm.

After their Alaska seasons, Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Spirit will operate additional Carnival Journeys sailings. Carnival Luminosa will return to Brisbane, while Carnival Spirit will traverse the Panama Canal again, reaching her new homeport of Mobile, Alabama on October 6, 2023.

Carnival Pride will set off from Tampa on a 13-day transatlantic Cruise to Barcelona, Spain, with stops at Ponta Delgada in the Azores and the Spanish cities of Malaga and Valencia. After undergoing refurbishments, the ship will sport a new red, white, and blue Carnival livery and sail 15 European cruises from May 28 to October 28, 2023. Carnival Pride will then embark on a 15-day transatlantic voyage back to the U.S., concluding her European season on October 28, 2023.
