Basil Hayden Joins Forces with MICHELIN Guide U.S. to Elevate Culinary and Bourbon Experiences

In travel news for May , 2023 we talk about the MICHELIN Guide naming their official american Whiskey.

Basil Hayden, known for redefining traditional bourbon, has become the official American Whiskey of the MICHELIN Guide U.S., with both brands sharing a commitment to excellence. This partnership aims to demonstrate that sophisticated and high-quality culinary experiences can be enjoyed by all, breaking the notion that they are exclusive or unattainable.

Established in 1992 by Booker Noe as part of the Small Batch collection, Basil Hayden has introduced a more subtle side of bourbon, offering an unexpected Whiskey aperitif opportunity for cocktail enthusiasts. The collaboration with the MICHELIN Guide reflects Basil Hayden's approachable yet refined recipe.

A key event in the partnership is an immersive "tasting garden" that will tour popular food festivals across the U.S., starting this June. The co-branded space will feature a diner-inspired exterior that transitions into a high-end cocktail bar, offering attendees aged 21 and older Basil Hayden craft cocktails paired with MICHELIN-inspired small bites. This inclusive event is designed to introduce attendees to the world of Basil Hayden and the MICHELIN Guide while discovering new bourbon pairings and occasions.

In addition to the pop-up tour, Basil Hayden will serve as an official partner of the 2023 MICHELIN Guide ceremonies and present the MICHELIN Exceptional Cocktails Award. The partnership will also feature various initiatives, such as a sweepstakes offering the winner a MICHELIN Star weekend complete with fine dining and luxury accommodations.

The Basil Hayden and MICHELIN Guide pop-up tour begins this summer and runs through the fall, with stops in Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; Louisville, Kentucky; Atlanta, Georga; New York, New York; and San Diego, California. This collaboration aims to create unique and memorable experiences for Whiskey novices and seasoned bourbon drinkers alike, making the world of refined culinary and spirits experiences accessible to all.
