Seabourn Venture

Unveiled in 2021, Seabourn Venture is the epitome of luxury and innovation in the world of expedition cruising. Designed and built by world-renowned shipyard Mariotti, the Seabourn Venture pushes the envelope in terms of blending style, comfort, and exploration. From the sleek exterior design to the refined interior spaces and state-of-the-art technology, it is apparent that the Seabourn Venture promises an unprecedented level of opulence within a Cruise experience tailored for intrepid adventure seekers. Whether exploring the icy realms of Antarctica or the pristine shores of the Galapagos Islands, the Seabourn Venture is poised to set a new standard in expedition cruising for the modern traveler.

Design and Accommodation

The visionary design team behind Seabourn Venture, led by Adam D. Tihany, has done away with the traditional approach to Expedition Cruise ship design, which tends to be more functional and industrial in appearance. Instead, Tihany has created an innovative aesthetic that draws upon the natural surroundings of the ship's destinations, reflecting textures and materials reminiscent of vast glaciers, weathered rock formations, and intricate marine life. The result is a fluid continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, inviting passengers to immerse themselves within the stunning scenery that encapsulates the vessel as it traverses diverse and far-reaching landscapes.

Spanning 628 feet in length and comprising 132 all-veranda oceanfront suites, the Seabourn Venture offers ample space for an exclusive guest capacity of just 264 passengers. Accommodation options range from the ultra-spacious 1,399 square foot Premium Suite to the elegant 355 square foot Veranda Suite. Regardless of the selected suite category, all rooms boast features such as private furnished verandas or terraces, walk-in closets, personal in-suite bars, and luxuriously-appointed marble bathrooms with separate rain showers and tubs. Additionally, all suites are serviced by attentive staff, including personal suite stewardesses tasked with ensuring every detail of your stay is impeccable.

Dining and Culinary Excellence

Seabourn Venture's dining philosophy mirrors the ship's commitment to exceptional quality and catering to individual tastes, offering an array of culinary experiences that draw upon global flavors and seasonal ingredients. Led by Michelin-starred chef Thomas Keller, the rotating menus highlight a symphony of fresh and creative dishes reflecting the destinations visited during your voyage.

There are several dining venues onboard, ensuring that every meal becomes a memorable occasion. The Restaurant, the ship's main dining room, offers a sophisticated yet relaxed environment in which to savor multi-course dinners. The more intimate Chef's Table presents a unique opportunity to enjoy an extravagant tasting menu designed by Chef Keller, accompanied by expertly-selected wine pairings. Casual al fresco dining experiences are available at venues such as The Colonnade, Patio, and Earth & Ocean, where passengers can indulge in artisanal wood-fired pizzeria, live cooking stations, and themed dinner events.

Expedition Equipment and Technology

While the hallmark of the Seabourn Venture is undoubtedly its luxurious amenities, the ship stays true to its purpose as an expedition vessel by incorporating cutting-edge technology and high-performance equipment designed for off-the-beaten-path exploration.

Two custom-built submarines, each capable of carrying six passengers and a pilot, enable guests to embark on a thrilling underwater journey that takes them up to 985 feet below the surface, revealing the otherworldly depths of the ocean and the mysterious marine life that inhabits them. Furthermore, the vessel's complement of 24 Zodiacs allows for nimble shore landings and close encounters with wildlife in remote destinations.

For aerial perspectives, high-performance drones capture stunning footage of the surrounding landscapes while the ship sails through remarkable scenery. In addition, professional-grade kayaks and mountain bikes provide an active way to explore idyllic coastal shorelines or weave through captivating trails on land.

Wellness and Enrichment Programs

The Seabourn Venture understands the importance of integrating wellness and self-discovery into the Expedition Cruise experience. As such, the ship features a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga, and Pilates classes, and rejuvenating spa therapies at The Spa at Seabourn. The Retreat, an outdoor relaxation area complete with a whirlpool, cabanas, and a bar, offers the perfect place to rest and recharge between adventures.

To enrich the guest experience during their voyage, the ship offers programs led by the onboard Expedition Team, comprising specialists in their respective fields such as marine biology, ornithology, and geology. Their lectures and daily recaps provide comprehensive insight into the destinations and ecosystems visited during the Cruise while also offering hands-on, interactive learning experiences ashore.

By seamlessly merging the worlds of Luxury Travel and expedition cruising, the Seabourn Venture has crafted an unparalleled experience that caters to the most discerning travelers. With its sublime accommodations, exquisite culinary offerings, groundbreaking technology, and commitment to well-crafted destination experiences, the Seabourn Venture is poised to redefine expedition cruising for those who seek to explore the world's most breathtaking and remote destinations without compromise.
