Ben Gurion Airport (TLV)

Ben Gurion Airport is Israel’s main international airport and is situated about 12 miles outside of Tel Aviv and 24 miles from Jerusalem. An iconic symbol of the country’s past, present, and future, Ben Gurion Airport is one of the most important crossings between the East and West and has been helping travelers explore the world since the 1930s. It is the premier portal for travelers entering or leaving the Holy Land, with over 20 million people passing through each year.

Ben Gurion offers nonstop flights to more than 100 destinations around the world, including major cities in Europe, the Middle East, the United States, Africa, and Asia. It is also the hub of domestic and international cargo flights and serves as a gateway to much of the Middle East. Ben Gurion is situated within an expansive airfield, which includes two passenger terminals: Terminal 1, for most international flights and Terminal 3, for domestic and charter flights, as well as a number of freight and cargo terminals.

Designated as a Category One Airport by the Federal Aviation Administration, Ben Gurion offers a safe, secure, and comfortable way to reach some of the most iconic destinations in the world. Here, travelers can expect to be warmly welcomed and adequately prepared for their journey with the most up-to-date information, amenities, and services from the airport staff and service providers.

Once inside the airport, travelers will be able to find everything they need for a smooth and stress-free trip. At the entrance, there are automated check-in machines with an English-language option, allowing passengers to choose their flight, print out their boarding pass, and choose their preferred type of seating. There are convenient shops, restaurants, and cafes located throughout the airport to help satisfy any craving the traveler might have. Additionally, the airport is home to a number of modern conveniences such as free Wi-Fi, ATMs, and currency exchange desks, making it easy to take care of any security-related issues without needing to leave the airport.

Ben Gurion has received numerous awards for its commitment to providing a top-notch passenger experience. In 2014, the airport was rated “Best Airport in the Middle East” by Skytrax. The same year, the airport won the 2013 Airport Service Quality Award from Airports Council International and the Global Airport Development Prize at the Annual Global Airports Awards. These accolades reflect the airport’s commitment to delivering a quality travel experience.

Ben Gurion Airport is the destination of choice for travelers looking to explore the vibrant cultures, stunning landscapes, and unique history of Israel. With an exceptional range of amenities and an exemplary commitment to passenger satisfaction, Ben Gurion is the gateway to the fascinating wonders of this remarkable country. Whether you’re looking to soak up the sun on the country’s beautiful beaches, explore the ancient ruins of Jerusalem, or discover the vibrant nightlife of Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport is the perfect starting point for all of your adventures.
