Longer Cruise Adventures Beckon: Holland America Line Rises to Travelers' Demands

Holland America Line is adapting its deployment strategy to offer extended roundtrip cruises from domestic homeports in response to customer feedback and rising airfare costs. The cruise line has introduced a new category of extended cruises and longer sailings to destinations like the Caribbean, resulting in increased capacity for 12-day and 50-day sailings. Travelers can expect more Caribbean cruises ranging from nine to 21 days, visiting less frequented destinations such as the ABC islands, the Panama Canal, and Cartagena, Colombia. Additionally, Holland America Line is launching a new category called "Legendary Voyages" featuring extended cruises primarily departing from the U.S. or Canada, providing travelers with a range of unforgettable journeys.
