The airport features convenient facilities for those who receive discounts for special travel situations. This includes a military lounge for those actively serving or retired in the military. There is also the pet relief area for service and companion animals, complete with on-site vendors available to accommodate their needs.

For travelers who require special assistance, Chicago Midway International Airport is completely ADA accessible. There are wheelchair-accessible elevators, bathrooms, and seating throughout the facility to accommodate those with disabilities. A variety of service animals are allowed at the airport, as well.
